The Lady Rangers club volleyball team competed in the April Showers tournament on Saturday, March 30, in Provo, Utah.

The team had a successful morning in pool play, which advanced them into the gold bracket. While in bracket play, the girls played hard and earned first place against the Sanpete Elite to bring home a gold medal.

This tournament was a great experience for the girls. We saw the girls having fun, while also seeing success in the way they played the game and communicated with each other.

Each member of the team has an important role and to see them bring those various roles together — that’s what makes a team successful. The girls have worked hard in practice.

Volleyball is a game of continuous work and improvement. When they really buckle down and put those skills to use, they start breaking barriers and doing things they haven’t done before.

We look forward to our last AAU tournament on Saturday, April 6, when we will be in Salt Lake City to compete in the Rainy Day Tournament.
