EMT students had an extrication training at the Kemmerer Fire Department on Saturday, May 20, as part of a basic EMT class.
The training simulated a car accident in which the accident victim needed to be removed from the car.
Students of the class will take their state certification exam on June 10th.
The extrication class was taught by Willie Kramer.
Students in attendance were: LaShina Yazzie, Kimberly Black, Carrie Canestorp, Kurt Cantu, Scott Myers, Barbara Radman, Earl Blackman, Morgann Weston, Tyler Nelson and Dan Taylor.
Jack Holt, the EMS director, was also present.
The fire department will conduct another extrication practice in August.
