The Kemmerer City Council held a meeting with Downtown Redevelopment Services representatives Ben Levenger and Stan Levenger on Tuesday, Sept 22. The council asked many questions, one of the main ones being what the company intends to accomplish.
Levenger said their goal is to gather public input and put together a list of rules and responsibilities for the community. This is to help revitalize the downtown area and make it a more popular and inviting place to be.
“A lot of western communities have lost the bones of their community,” Ben Levenger said. “They tear down their buildings and build news ones. I think you guys have fantastic bones.”
