As the weather is cooling down, Lincoln County Library System recommends getting cozy and “falling” into a new book. Our libraries have all the season’s best new releases.
For the mystery lover, check out Robert Galbraith’s fifth Cormoran Strike installment, “Troubled Blood.” Strike and Robin take on a new case and deal with their troubled personal lives.
Christopher Paolini has released his first adult novel for sci-fi fans. “To Sleep in a Sea of Stars” follows Kira as she finds an ancient alien relic and sparks a war for the ages.
Do you love historical fiction? Try “The Royal Governess” by Wendy Holden. This story will take you to the palaces of England in the 1930s where Marion Crawford is the governess of the future queen of England.
For young adults, we have the sequel to “American Royals” by Katharine McGee. In “Majesty,” we pick back up with Beatrice, Samantha and Jefferson, the young rulers of an alternate America.
“The Silver Arrow” by Lev Grossman will spark any middle schooler’s imagination. Join Kate and her younger brother, Tom, as they travel to distant lands in their magical locomotive.
And don’t forget to pick up a new picture book for our youngest readers. “Robobaby” by David Wiesner is just one of many great books you can find in the kid’s section. What happens when a robot family welcomes a new baby to the family?
We have something for everyone in our “New Books” section at your local library. Come see them for yourself at the Lincoln County Library System.
