End-of-year athletic awards for Cokeville High Panthers

Cokeville High School held its annual Athletic Awards Night on Wednesday, May 2 in the high school auditorium. Seniors Janetta Teichert and Antheny Petersen were awarded the title of Cokeville High School Student-Athletes.

Volleyball: Lexia Brown, Janetta Teichert, Janae Teichert and Kamille Nate were recognized for All Conference and All State. Janetta Teichert was also named the 3-Trails Conference Player of the Year and will represent Cokeville in the All-Star game this summer.

Cheerleading: Alisen Petersen, Cydney Brown and Brookelle Hatch were recognized as All State.

Football: Antheny Petersen was named Defensive Player of the Year. Rick Nate was named Offensive Player of the Year. Cordell Viehweg was named Lineman of the Year. Antheny Petersen, Rick Nate, Cordell Viehweg, Tristan Nate, Sterling Murdock, Bentley Johnson, Brayden Johnson were named All-Conference. Antheny Petersen, Rick Nate, Cordell Viehweg, Sterling Murdock, Bentley Johnson were named All-State. Rick Nate and Antheny Petersen will represent Cokeville in the Shrine Bowl this summer. Jake Harmon was named most improved player.

Girls Basketball: Janetta Teichert and Kamille Nate were recognized for All-Conference and All-State. Katelyn Petersen was recognized for her season free-throw percentage of 73 percent.

Boys Basketball: Andrew Thomas was recognized for All-Conference.

Wrestling: Lochlyn Teichert, Ammon Teichert, Cordell Viehweg and Antheny Petersen were recognized for All-State.
