Kemmerer Elementary recently held a Celebration Assembly where students were recognized and awarded for outstanding character. Students also had a chance, through the Character Counts program, to win prizes for excellent character. The Character Counts program teaches children what it means to be a good citizen, to help and care for others, as well as what it means to be trustworthy, respectful, fair and responsible.
