DIAMONDVILLE — The Diamondville council held it’s bi-weekly meeting on Feb. 3. The council will raise the small can garbage rates $10.50, making it $30.50 on incremental increases and leaving the rest the same. They will also hold another workshop meeting to discuss the late fees for garbage bills on Wednesday, Feb. 12, at 4:30 p.m. The council also approved for Mayor Mark Langley to sign the memorandum of understanding for the final submittal for the Exxon carbon capture project. The council will hold their next meeting on Tuesday, Feb. 18, due to Presidents Day on Monday Feb. 17.
