COKEVILLE — The Cokeville Junior High and Elementary presented their Spring Concert on Wednesday, May 10, in the Cokeville High School auditorium, under the direction of Robbie King, with Nanette Cook as accompanist. The fourth grade recorder ensemble performed first with: “Rolling Along,” “Hot Cross Buns,” “Down By the Station,” Star Light, Star Bright,” “A Tisket A Tasket” and “Old Mac’s Farm.”
They were followed by the fifth grade band playing: “Go Tell Aunt Rhodie,” “My Dreydl,” “Oh Susanna,” “High School Cadets,” “Hey, Ho? Nobody’s Home,” “Old McDonald Had a Band” and “Boot Scootin’ Barn Dance.”
The Sixth grade band followed with: “Mexican Clapping Song,” “Variations on a Familiar Theme,” “Banana Boat Song,” “On Top of Old Smokey,” “New World Symphony” and “Bag O’ Blues.” The junior high band shared: “Call of the Champions,” “Land of the Rising Sun” and “Trails of Glory.” The final group to perform was the junior high choir. They performed: “Too Hot Down There!” “God Help the Outcasts,” “I Bought Me a Cat” and “O Sifuni Mungu.”
It was a wonderful night of entertainment. Special thanks to Mr. King and Mrs. Cook.
