Cokeville Rodeo – 25 years strong

Posted

The Cokeville Stock & Saddle Club and the Cokeville Rodeo celebrates its 25th anniversary this year. The rodeo, which will take place July 24-25, hosts a youth and an open rodeo, said Amy Peck, Cokeville Stock & Saddle Club’s public relations coordinator. Contestants can enter from July 13 at 8 a.m. until July 14 at 8 p.m. Entries are by text only at 435-770-2441.

In order to honor their anniversary, the club is posting a picture each day of an individual who has impacted the club or the grounds until July 25, according to Peck.

“You can see their stories on the website,” Peck said. “This is all from people in the community. If someone knows an individual who has helped the club, they can submit information and a photo to the website.”

Additionally, the Cokeville Stock & Saddle Club’s royalty for this year’s rodeo is: Emri Jenkins (queen), Hailey Mackey (first attendant), Quincee Call (princess), Kendra Huntington (first attendant), Irie Uasike (second attendant) and Peyton Gilmore (third attendant).

There will also be a raffle for a quilt and a rifle with all proceeds going to the Cokeville Stock & Saddle Club to help with facility improvements, according to a flyer.
