The football season may have ended earlier than anticipated for the Cokeville Panthers, but the team still picked up some impressive state honors.
Antheny Peterson, Bentley Johnson, Rick Nate, Bradon Johnson, Sterling Murdock, Cordell Viehweig and Tristian Nate were named to the Wyoming 1A Football All-Conference team.
Cokeville also placed several players on the All-State team, including Bentley Johnson, Rick Nate, Sterling Murdock, Cordell Viehweig and Tristian Nate.
Rick Nate was named the Wyoming 1A West Offensive Player of the Year.
Nate was also honored as one of the 25 best football players in Wyoming at the Super 25 banquet on Friday, Nov. 17.
Antheny Petersen was named 1A West Defensive Player of the Year.
Cordell Viehweig earned the title of 1A West Lineman of the Year.
Cokeville Panther football coach Todd Dayton, who has over 20 state football championships under his belt, was named 1A West Coach of the Year.
