Norman Freeman passed away peacefully, surrounded by his children, at his home in Cokeville on Saturday, Oct. 31. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Nov. 7, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Cokeville.
A celebration of life was held on Monday, Oct. 26, in honor of Gordon Thornock at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Cokeville. Friends and family joined together in tribute.
The Panthers traveled to Torrington for the 1A quarterfinal football game on Friday, Oct. 30. Due to the fact that the Panthers are playing up a conference, this was the first time in the history of Cokeville High School that the Panthers competed against the Trailblazers. The Panthers came out strong in the first half and were up 14-10 going into the locker room. But, it was all Trailblazers in the second as they defeated the visiting Panthers 34-14. The Panthers had a great season and competed well in their first year in the 2A Classification. Congratulations, Panthers, on a great season.
The Cokeville 2nd Ward Young Women met to paint and carve pumpkins on Tuesday, Oct. 27. They shared their pumpkins at the “Spooktacular evening of Halloween” at the park on Wednesday, Oct. 28.
