The 2017 Cokeville Panther football team has been led by 10 seniors: Bowen Larson, Antheny Petersen, Sterling Murdock, Tristan Nate, Seth Toomer, Cordell Viehweg, Blake Thornock, Rick Nate, Michael Moyes and Wyatt Awtrey. The Panthers finished up their regular season of play on the turf as they traveled to Shoshoni on Friday, Oct. 20.
The Panthers dominated and took the big win 51–12 with all of the younger Panthers getting some valuable playing time in the second half.
The win gave the Cokeville Panthers an undefeated regular season record.
The Panthers had three players with more than 100 yards of rushing: Rick Nate had 167, Antheny Petersen with 103 and Bentley Johnson with 104. Defensively for the Panthers Brayden Johnson had nine tackles and Andrew Thomas chipped in eight tackles.
