Cokeville senior Hayden Hatch prepares to pass the baton in the 1600 medley relay in Logan on Saturday, April 13.
The Cokeville High School track teams competed in the Grizzly Invitational at Logan High School in Utah on Friday, April 12, and Saturday, April 13.
Many of the athletes earned personal-best and state-qualifying times.
Cokeville Lady Panther Cienna Halls earned 6th place in the 800-meter and 8th place in the 1600-meter. Emma Teichert finished 4th in both the 100-meter hurdles and the 300-meter hurdles. Emmie Barnes was 5th in the 100-meter hurdles and 8th in the triple jump. Kylee Dayton earned 3rd place in the high jump and 7th place in the 300-meter hurdles. Rylee Teichert was 8th in the high jump, and Janae Teichert was 7th in the discus.
Bentley Johnson finished 7th in the 110-meter hurdles and 8th in the 300-meter hurdles. The girls’ 4x400 relay team of Kylee Dayton, Cienna Halls, Emma Teichert and Emmie Barnes earned 5th place. The boys’ 4x400 relay team of Bentley Johnson, Tyler Moyes, Devan Moody and Nate Barnes finished in 8th place at the Grizzly Invitational. The Cokeville track teams will compete at Skyview on Saturday, April 20.
