The annual High School Shrine Bowl Football game was held on Saturday, June 9, in Casper. This event brings football players from the Wyoming’s north and south together for a week of practice before the big game on Saturday.
This year the Panthers had two players chosen to represent Cokeville High School on the South Team: Rick Nate and Antheny Petersen.
The outcome of the game didn’t go the South’s way, as the North took the victory 13–7, but it was a great opportunity for Rick and Antheny to be a part of this special event that raises money for the Shriners Hospital. Rick and Antheny’s families and friends made the trip to show their support for the Cokeville athletes.
