The Cokeville Panthers football team got another big win on the gridiron Friday, Sept. 15, when they defeated the Lyman Eagles 35–6.
The Panthers were led on defense by senior Antheny Petersen with 12 tackles, followed by Sterling Murdock with seven tackles and Rick Nate with six.
Wyatt Awtrey and Blake Thornock each had a fumble recovery, and Devan Moody snagged an interception. Rick Nate carried the ball 18 times for 116 yards and Bentley Johnson ran the ball seven times for 86 yards.
Bentley was also 8 of 12 passing for 179 yards. The Panthers will travel to Rocky Mountain for an important conference game against the Grizzlies on Friday, September 22.
