The Lady Panthers basketball team hosted the Lady Tigers of Encampment on Friday, Feb. 8. Cokeville steamrolled over Encampment, winning 66-24. Emmie Barnes had 29 points and 6 rebounds. Kamille Nate added 6 more boards. Kylee Dayton and Janae Teichert had 4 assists. Tana Teichert and Emma Tonga each had 3 steals.
On Saturday, Feb. 9, the Cokeville Lady Panthers hosted the Lady Panthers of Saratoga. Again Cokeville put up huge numbers as they took the big win, 70-23. Emmie Barnes led the scoring with 19 points, 5 assists and 5 rebounds. Kamille Nate had 11 points. Kylee Dayton added 12 points and had 8 assists and 7 steals. Janae Teichert had 6 rebounds. Emma Teichert and Rylee Teichert each had 5 rebounds. Tana Teichert had 4 assists and Emma Teichert had 5 steals.

The Cokeville boys basketball team hosted the Encampment Tigers on Friday, Feb. 8. The Panthers put up a great fight on their home court but fell in a close battle 56-52. Garrett King and Hayden Hatch led the scoring with 12 points and Kyle Wayment added 10 more to round out the top scorers for the Panthers.
On Saturday, Feb. 9, the Cokeville Panthers hosted Saratoga. Early in the game, the home team found themselves down as it seemed the visiting Panthers just couldn’t miss. At the half, the home team was down 19 points and were down by as many as 23 at one point in the game. The home team wasn’t about to give up as the tide changed in the second half and it was the Cokeville Panthers that couldn’t miss. They clawed their way back to take the huge win 71-66. Kyle Wayment had 21 points followed by Andrew Thomas with 15, Garrett King with 14 and Matt Thomas with 11. The Panthers will travel to Farson on Friday and then will host the Rattlers of Snake River on Saturday to finish out the regular season.
