Cokeville 4-H club hosts awards night

The Cokeville Community 4-H club hosted an awards night on Oct. 5. The Cokeville Community 4-H Awards night was held on Friday, Oct. 5, at Cokeville Elementary School.

President Devan Moody conducted and welcomed the attendees. The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Treyson Dayton and the 4-H Pledge was led by Jordyn Nate.

Holli Murdock read a letter of appreciation for all the support given to their family by the 4-H community. Murdock presented each member with a magnet to show their family’s appreciation.

Outstanding Record Books were awarded to several members.  Juniors: Madilyn Dayton, McCall Murdock, Kalob Haderlie and Flint Linford. Intermediates: Kelli Haderlie, Michea Petersen and Harley Mackey. Seniors:  Janessa Moody, Devan Moody, Eli Linford and Sidney Nate.

Honors Club Awards went to Jordyn Nate and Alisen Petersen. Outstanding Member went to Eli Linford. Outstanding Leader went to Marilyn Dayton. Jerry Dayton earned the Friend of 4-H award. Pam Grandy was presented with the 25-year Leader Award. Fairboard Buckles were presented to Madilyn Dayton (Reserve Champion Swine), Bryli Groll (Reserve Champion Lamb), Whytney Murdock (Grand Champion Lamb and Round Robin Grand Champion).

Elections were held for the next year. Eli Linford was named President. Vice-President: Alisen Petersen; Secretary: TyLeigh Dayton; Treasurer: Treyson Dayton; Reporter: Janessa Moody and Call Chairman: Kelli Haderlie.
