The Cokeville High School track team traveled to Logan, Utah, on Saturday, April 15, for the annual Grizzly Invite. This is a huge meet where many of the larger schools around Utah and Idaho compete.
It was a great opportunity for the Cokeville athletes to push themselves and better their individual times. Several CHS athletes had BYU-qualifying times and jumps and state-qualifying times and jumps.
Last week, the team traveled to Star Valley High School for a meet on Thursday, April 20. Despite a very cold, wet and windy day, the track athletes performed well and improved their times and distances.
They also traveled to Skyview High School in Smithfield, Utah, on Saturday, April 22. This was a much different day, with beautiful, warm, spring-like weather. Again the athletes had a great day and continue to work hard to prepare for regionals in just a few weeks.
