It is with great sadness that the family of Brook Marie Berger mourns her passing after a short fight against cancer.
Brook was born on October 10, 1974, in Ohio. She was the only child of Michael and Denise Koval. She moved with her family to Wyoming in 1979.
Brook was known by all to be a happy, fun-loving person who enjoyed life to the fullest. She enjoyed boating, horseback riding, camping, fishing and spending time with her family and friends.
Brook graduated from Evanston High School in 1993, and soon after married Pat Coburn, with whom she had a precious son named Dylan Michael.
Brook later married Scott Berger and the couple moved to Rock Springs.Brook pursued her career goals in the medical field helping those in need. Brook finally found her calling working as a dental assistant at Birch Family Dental in Green River, Wyoming. Brook is survived by her husband, Scott Berger; the Berger family, her son Dylan Michael Coburn, her parents Michael and Denise Koval and their families.
Brook will be truly missed by all who have been blessed by knowing her and having her touch their lives in some way. A memorial service will be held in Ohio at a later date. Many of you have heard Brook say many times, “It is what it is!”
