Former Kemmerer resident Brenda Lee Coronado (Clark), age 54, moved to a new life in heaven on January 5, 2018, in Pensacola, Florida.

Brenda was most recently a resident of Gillette for 25 years. She was born December 16, 1963, in Gillette, to Bob and Phyllis Clark. She was a very fun, outgoing person who had a glow about her throughout her life. A devout Christian and lover of God, Brenda also enjoyed her family, her animals, gardening, cooking and the Big Horn Mountains. She was well-known in her family as an amazing cook.   

Brenda moved with her mother and siblings to Kemmerer when she was five years old and spent her formative years there.

Her mother remarried in 1971 to Don Wagner in Kemmerer. Brenda attended Kemmerer schools throughout her young life. She married Pat Yates in 1981 in Kemmerer and had one child, Melissa. The couple later divorced and Brenda met and married Chris Coronado in Las Vegas in 1984. 

Brenda is preceded in death by her mother Phyllis Cordingly, father Bob Clark, stepfather Don Wagner and brother Darryl.

She is survived by her three daughters: Melissa Davis of London, Ohio; Tanya Coronado of Ft. Collins, Colo.; and Kristina Coronado of Houston, Texas. She is also survived by her brother Dale Clark of Boulder, Colo., sister Pam Stevens of Thermopolis, nephew Robert Bowen of Kemmerer, former husband Chris Coronado of Gillette, five grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles who she was very close to. 

Brenda’s remains were cremated and a memorial service is being planned in Gillette at a future date.
