Book Nook: End of summer reading

Posted

“Imagine Your Story” has been the theme for the summer reading program this year across the Lincoln County Library System.  As all of us have had to imagine a different summer than we are used to, we hope we have provided you with a summer reading program that has been fun and memorable.  As July comes to an end we are finishing up our summer reading programs. That means the final reading charts, votes, color contest sheets, reading challenges, raffle tickets for drawings, etc. are all due by the end of the month.  Hopefully you’ve been reading and are ready for your final reading prize. Some of the libraries are having you pick your prize up at the library, others will be mailing it to you, and others are having you submit your vote for the community prize you would like for your library. Get in touch with your local librarian and ask how you can get your final reading prize for participating in the summer reading program. We appreciate your participation! As we move into August, watch for information about fall reading and a few extra programs to help you enjoy the last of summer.
