Best Western Fossil Country Inn and Suites employees celebrate receiving the M.K. Gertin award for the fifth year in a row.  The hotel has also won the Chairman’s award every year since 2012. The Best Western Fossil Country Inn and Suites in Kemmerer was recognized with the brand’s highest honor, the M.K. Guertin Award at Best Western Hotels and Resorts’ 2018 North American Convention held recently in Grapevine, Texas.

This is the fifth year in a row that the local hotel has been awarded this honor. Best Western Fossil Country Inn and Suites has also won the Chairman’s award every year since 2012.

The esteemed M.K. Guertin Award is held in high regard as hotels that receive this award best represent the vision of Best Western’s founder and demonstrate exceptional levels of quality, guest satisfaction and dedication to the brand.

The award was presented in front of approximately 2,700 Best Western hoteliers and staff.

The hotels must also meet other brand standards and membership requirements to qualify for this award. The Best Western Fossil Country Inn and Suites is one of only 51 hotels out of 2,100 properties in North America to receive this award.

“We love winning these awards,” said employee Kara Torres. “We have an awesome team, and none of these awards ould be possible without the phenomenal team effort our staff has.”

“We’re very proud of the consistency in the level of customer care and service that our team delivers to each guest year after year,” said former general manager Sherry Black.
