On Saturday, March 18, honor band and choir students came from Cokeville, Star Valley, Lyman, Mtn. View, Big Piney, Pinedale, Kemmerer, Jackson, and Evanston middle schools to rehearse and perform at Evanston High School. There were around 80 students selected for band and around 100 students selected for choir.
During the day the students rehearsed with the clinicians from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m., with a few breaks here and there. The concert was at 4 p.m. in the Evanston High School auditorium and both groups did a wonderful job.
Kemmerer band members included:
Colby Bowen, Jacquie Gunter, Emily Harris, Trayven Hays, Chelsea Eggleston, Heather Hall, Carleene Sadler, Shaun Nelson, Konner Gregory, Karl Haslem, Warren Haslem and Mont Warrem; Choir members from Kemmerer included Sable Abeyta, Cyndi Ashliman, Sorrel Proffit, John Walker, Tommy Skidmore, Cheyenn Roose and Afton Orvin.
