Annual free soup supper announced, at Episcopal church

It is that time of year again for the annual St. James Soup Supper.

The soup supper is FREE to the public to come and enjoy a hearty meal and the company of friends and family.  Donations received are used for mission and outreach to the Kemmerer community.  These donations are not required but are appreciated.  This year all proceeds  will go to support our veterans at the American Legion Post 55. In addition to their service to our country, this group performs many important and helpful tasks for our community.  Please come and support our veterans.

Due to COVID-19 guidelines, all meals will be dine in or meals to go.  Masks are suggested but not required.  So, please bring a hearty appetite and come Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2020, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at St. James Episcopal Church on the corner of Cedar and Pearl.  See you there.

Veterans: The sponsors would love to display your photo at the church during the supper. The Lincoln County Library very generously volunteered to provide free copies to veterans for this event. Bring your service photo to the library. They will make a color copy for you free.  Leave your copy at the library and a representative from the Episcopal Church will collect all of the copies for display at the soup supper. With your photo, indicate branch, years and location of service. All photos will be collected by Nov. 9, 2020.
