Alice J. Gault

Alice J. Gault passed away Friday, March 17, at South Lincoln Medical Center in Kemmerer.

She was born in Kemmerer on June 5, 1932, to John B. Anelli and Annie Anelli.

She graduated from Kemmerer High School in 1950 and went on to attend Stevens- Henager College.

In September of 1952, she married Merion (Buckshot) Bohannon. Six children were born to this union. Buckshot passed away in 1969. Alice later married Johnny Gault.

Alice drove the school bus in LaBarge for several years.  She also worked at the LaBarge Post Office as a postal clerk for 10 years, later becoming the postmaster for 28 years.

Alice lived in LaBarge for a good portion of her life. She enjoyed rock hunting, scrap booking, doing crossword puzzles and watching game shows. She moved to Kemmerer in 2017, but always considered LaBarge her home.

Alice is preceded in death by her husbands, Buckshot and Johnny; her sons, Walter and Joe; a great-granddaughter, Lexi; her parents; her sisters, Marianne and Darlene; and her brother, John P.

She is survived by her daughters, Debbie (Charles) Bowen of Diamondville, Terry (Leo) of Everett, Washington, Cathie (Arch) of Kemmerer and JoLynn (Jerry) of Evansville; 19 grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren.

The family has asked that memorial donations be made to the LaBarge Senior Citizens Center or to the American Legion.
