NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on the 4th day of March, 2019, in the District Court of the Third Judicial District, Lincoln County, Wyoming, there has been filed a Petition for Decree of Distribution of Real Property by Joseph William VanDerveer, Jr., Cody Aharonian and Michael Aharonian, the sole heirs and distributees of Mary Jean Aharonian, deceased, as of the 23rd day of October, 2016; such application pertaining to the Deceased’s interest in the following described real property located in Cokeville, Lincoln County, State of Wyoming: The North Sixty (60) feet of Lot Numbered Eight (8) in Block Numbered Five (5) in the Original Town of Cokeville, Lincoln County, Wyoming, as surveyed, platted and recorded. Together with all buildings thereon or thereunto in anywise appertaining. The Petition prays that the District Court of the Third Judicial District, Lincoln County, Wyoming, decree title to said property to the above named heirs and distributees of the Deceased.  Notice is further given that the rightful heirs of Carol Jean Rodriguez have filed this application pursuant to W.S. 2-1-205 and have claimed, in said application, and do claim now, that all of the requirements of said statute, together with the requirements of W.S. 2-1-201(a)(i) have been properly met and asserted and that no other person may, by right, claim any interest in real or personal property of the Decedent.  Objections, if any there be, must be filed with the Clerk of District Court, Third Judicial District, Lincoln County Wyoming, PO Box 510, 925 Sage Avenue, Kemmerer, Wyoming 83101, within two (2) weeks from the date of the first publication of this Notice.

REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

Proposals for a garbage contractor for the collection of garbage within the incorporated limits of the Town of Opal will be received through April 08 2019 at Town Hall, 651 North Front Street, PO Box 130, Opal, Wyoming, 83124. Town leadership will draft a contract and plan to have it out for bid in May 2019.

Public Notice

The City of Kemmerer, Wyoming, is requesting proposals from qualified vendors for providing a leased police vehicle, including specified equipment, under a multi-year contract. Agreements arising out of such an RFP will be for four (4) years and may be renewed by mutual agreement of the parties for another four (4) years. Vendors are invited to submit a proposal outlining vehicle models with equipment as outlined in this RFP for patrol use, with requirements of closed and/or open-end lease options, which may include vehicle maintenance provisions.

Sealed proposals will be received until 3:00 PM on Tuesday, March 19, 2019 at City Hall, 220 Highway 233, Kemmerer, WY 83101. The solicitation document may be viewed in person at City Hall or online at www.kemmerer.org under the “Jobs and Bids” tab. Faxed submissions will not be accepted. Late proposals will be returned to the vendor unopened.

All proposals are required to comply with provisions of Wyoming Statutes and City of Kemmerer regulations for this procurement.

The City of Kemmerer reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to postpone award of the contract for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from date of proposal opening, to waive informalities in the proposals, and to select the proposal which appears to be in the best interest of the City.

The Contractor, on Highway Project Number B183014 in Lincoln, Sweetwater, Teton and Uinta Counties, consisting of milling plant mix, bituminous pavement surfacing and miscellaneous work, and the Contractor is entitled to final settlement therefore; that the Director of the Department of Transportation will cause said Contractor to be paid the full amount due him under said contract on April 10, 2019.

CITY COUNCIL PROCEEDINGS

The Kemmerer City Council met in regular session this 25th day of February, 2019, at 7 p.m. in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, Kemmerer, Wyoming.  The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. Present on roll call were Mayor Anthony Tomassi, Councilman Robert Bowen, Councilman Vance Chamberlain, Councilman David Crosland, Councilman Dave McGinnis, Councilman Mark Quinn, and Councilman Eric Rudy.

Motion was made by Councilman McGinnis to approve the agenda for February 25, 2019, as amended to include applying for a grant from the Lincoln County Recreation Commission; seconded by Councilman Quinn and unanimously approved by Council.
